Our S & J Morocco tour operators would be happy to customize a tour that you have planned and could pick up/drop off anywhere while you are on a Morocco vacation with us.  We welcome couples, families, single travelers, friends and small and large groups.

What is so intriguing about Morocco?  A door to Africa and very close to Europe, it is a modern country with ancient customs.

Its culture arises from the many diverse ethnic groups who have settled here.

Commerce in the Old Cities is as much a way of life today as they were centuries ago.

The beauty is staggering – spectacular sunrises, rose gold sand dunes, and wild and harsh mountain ranges.

Adventures await you.

Our Company works with Moroccan professional tour guides who have degrees in English and History and our professional drivers speak English, French, and Arabic. We are a truly unique Moroccan travel agency.

They are native Moroccans and know every corner of their country and they are proud to show it to you.

Brief Moroccan History

Morocco is a melting pot of many cultures. The Berbers are the original inhabitants and have lived in the country for more than 3000 years.  During the 7th century, the Arab armies spread across northern Africa and into Morocco bringing Islam with them.

Morocco has also seen the arrival of many Jewish people beginning in the first century AD and continuing throughout the centuries.

In the early 20th Century, Morocco became a French Protectorate.

The French controlled the central and the southern regions and Spanish Western Sahara.

The French influence resulted in roads, highways and schools being built.

In l956, Morocco’s long alliance ended with France and in l975 with Spain.

As the cities of Morocco grew and expanded over the centuries, three distinct areas emerged in each Imperial City with each new wave of people.

The old town was built by the Berbers and the Arabs, the middle town by the Jews and the new town by the French.
