Day 1 : Airport/Port to Tangier
On your arrival in Tangier, at the airport or the seaport, you will be met by your driver and tour guide who will drive you to your hotel.
After some rest, take a guided tour to see the main attractions, such as The Kasbah Museum and its beautiful garden, the Medina and more.
Enjoy dinner in your hotel and an overnight stay.
Day 2 : Tangier to Chefchaouen
After breakfast, your driver and tour guide will pick you up and drive you through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, a gorgeous mountain city known as the ‘Blue City’.
After some rest, venture out for an exciting tour. Take a stroll in the old Medina of whitewashed alleyways and blue doors. Visit the well preserved Kasbah Museum which was a Sultan’s Palace and now preserves the history of the city.
In the evening enjoy dinner in the plaza of the Medina and then back to your accommodations.
Day 3 : Guided Tour of Chefchaouen
After breakfast, take a 30-minute ride and then a walk to the Cascades d’Akchour. Follow your guide past rock pools and waterfalls to the Pont de Dieu (the Bridge of God). Feel free to have a swim or a rest and enjoy a cup of green tea.
After lunch, return to the city. Revisit the Medina as you like and then enjoy dinner in the plaza.
Return to your hotel or riad for an overnight stay.
Day 4 :Chefchaouen to Fez
After breakfast, depart Chefchaouen. Head to Fez and enjoy the drive through colorful and charming villages located in the Rif Mountains where there will be lots of photo opportunities.
The charming Imperial City of Fez is often referred to as the country’s cultural and intellectual capital. Two of its most famous sites are the ‘Old Town’, a walled medina, known as the Fes El Bali and the Mellah or Jewish Quarter.
Upon your arrival, you will head directly to your hotel or riad for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 :Tour of Fez
After breakfast we will continue our Morocco Luxury Tour, begining your Fez sightseeing tour from Fès el Jdid. Visit the historical sites such as the Royal Palace, one of the oldest and largest in Morocco, the Mellah or Jewish Quarter, founded in 1438 and the first in Morocco, and the landmark Marinid Tombs which date back to the Marinid Dynasty.
Later, you will enter the winding, old walled city of Fez el Bali, proclaimed a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1981.
Here you will visit the historical sites such as the magnificent Moulay Idriss Mausoleum and the medieval University of Al Quaraouiyine plus the leather tanneries which have been in use for 1000 years.
In the evening, enjoy dinner in a restaurant of your choice. Then back to your hotel.
Day 6 : Trip from Fez to Volubilis-Moulay Idriss-Meknes
After breakfast, we will continue our Morocco Luxury Tour heading to Volubilis to explore the partly excavated ancient Roman city. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers you an opportunity to enjoy a perfect blend of cultural heritage and picturesque scenery.
Afterward, you will drive to the Holy City of Moulay Idriss, considered the holiest city in Morocco.
It was here that Moulay Idriss I arrived in 789, bringing with him the religion of Islam. A new royal dynasty was started with him.
The last destination will be Meknes, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the fourth historical Imperial City. It was established by Moulay Ismail in the 11th century.
During your tour, you will see the major sites such as the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail and the Bab Mansour Gate plus the Bab Berdieyinne Mosque.
Return to Fes and relax with a Turkish bath (Hamman) and massage.
Then return to your hotel or riad for dinner and get ready for your trip the next day.
Day 7 : Fez to Merzouga
After breakfast, depart Fez and drive to Merzouga through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Upon arrival, head straight to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
The landscape on this 8-hour drive is everchanging. There will be an opportunity for picture taking as the roads wind and lead through the forests, verdant mountain villages and arid plains before you reach the oasis in South Morocco. Then head into the desert.
Day 8 : Guided Tour of Merzouga
Today, after breakfast, enjoy a tour of the village and observe the mud flats and massive sand dune, Erg Chebbi, which rises 770 feet.
After lunch, prepare for your overnight stay in the desert. Embark on a camel ride in the late afternoon to watch the sunset setting beyond the massive dunes.
Enjoy a delicious fire-cooked dinner, and spend the night camping out under the stars.
Day 9 : Merzouga to Todra Gorge
Today, arise before dawn to observe the exquisite sunrise in the desert rising in the East behind the dunes.
Then pack up and ride your camel back to your hotel where you can shower, have breakfast and get ready for your next adventure.
Then drive to Todra Gorge to discover the incredible beauty of this canyon that narrows to about 33 feet with smooth rock walls that rise to about 525 feet on each side.
Take a short hike on a nearby trail, and join the nomads in the surrounding area and share a cup of mint tea with them.
In the evening, enjoy dinner and spend the night at your accommodation in Todra Gorge.
Day 10 : Todra Gorge to Ouarzazate
After breakfast, you will head to Ouarzazate. It is considered to be the Hollywood of Morocco and where Hollywood directors go if they want to shoot a biblical film. Both Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator were filmed there.
You will also have the opportunity to visit the Museum of Cinema plus one of Morocco’s most impressive monuments, Taourirt Kasbah.
In the evening, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 11 : Ouarzazate to Marrakesh
Today’s destination, Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, is an old fortress and an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It is well preserved and one of the most spectacular sights in the south of Morocco.
Then continue through the valley towards the High Atlas Mountains. You will cross the mountain range on the winding and picturesque Tizi-n-Tichka Pass to Marrakesh where you will have dinner and spend the night.
There will be many opportunities for picture taking on this drive.
Once in Marrakesh, head to your hotel or riad for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 12 : Guided Tour of Marrakesh
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of the city, also known as the ‘Red City’. The color is pervasive as many buildings were constructed from local red sandstone.
You will have an opportunity to explore a number of historical palaces, museums and sites in the city, such as The Walled Medina of Marrakesh, now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
See the former palaces of the Sultan which have been rebuilt and restored and are rich in history and cultural heritage.
Enjoy all the festivities in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Djeema el Fna Square.
Visit the artist’s landscape of the Majorelle Garden and the Bahia Palace and more.
At the end of the day, have dinner at a restaurant of your choice. Then back to your hotel or riad.
Day 13 : Day Trip from Marrakesh to Ourika Valley
After breakfast, depart for a day trip to Ourika Valley.
You will head south through olive groves and towards the Atlas Mountains. You will enjoy breathtaking views of the small rocky hills, green mountains, and grazing sheep.
Have lunch in the heart of Ourika Valley by the river before you head to the waterfalls of Setti Fatma and observe the Berber lifestyle.
Return to your hotel or riad for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 14 : Marrakesh to Casablanca
After breakfast, we will take the highway to Casablanca, the largest and most progressive city in Morocco.
After a short rest in your hotel, visit one of Casablanca’s most famous attractions, Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco and one of the largest in the world.
Then visit the Old Town and then take a drive along the beachfront known as the Corniche.
Have dinner at Rick’s Café, a famous landmark in Casablanca.
Return to your hotel for a final overnight stay.
