The Best of Western Morocco 10 Days

On your arrival at the airport, you will be met by your driver and tour guide who will drive you to your hotel.

After some rest, enjoy your first dinner in Morocco and then an overnight stay at your hotel.

After breakfast, you will have a tour of one of Casablanca’s most famous attractions, Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco and one of the largest in the world.

Then drive to City Center to see the Old Medina.

Then you will drive from Casablanca to Essaouira along the rugged Atlantic coastal road to your hotel or riad for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, head out for a sightseeing tour of the picturesque Medina (Old Town) which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site plus a number of historical attractions including Simon Attias Synagogue built in 1882, the Galeries Frederic Damgaard and Ben Youssef Mosque.

In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Essaouira was part of the ‘hippie trail’.

Artists, such as Jimi Hendrix and Cat Stevens, visited the city, leaving a mark on the cultural tourism of the city.

Today Essaouira is known as Morocco’s windsurfing capital as well as a fishing port.

In the evening, return to your hotel or riad and prepare for dinner at a restaurant of your choice.

After breakfast, depart Essaouira and head to Marrakesh via the highway.

Once you arrive, head directly to your hotel or riad for a short rest.

Then take a stroll through the old Walled Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and discover the diverse range of arts and crafts found here.

Then return to your hotel or riad for dinner and overnight stay.

After having breakfast we will continue our Morocco Western Tour, embarking on a sightseeing tour of the ‘Red City’.

The color is pervasive as many buildings were constructed from local red sandstone.

You will have an opportunity to explore a number of historical palaces, museums, and sites in the city.

See the former palaces of the Sultan which have been rebuilt and restored and are rich in history and cultural heritage.

Enjoy all the festivities in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Djeema el Fna Square.

Visit the artist’s landscape of the Majorelle Garden, the Bahia Palace and more.

At the end of the tour, return to your hotel or riad for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast we will continue our Morocco Western Tour, driving through the High Atlas Mountains for an adventure in The Cascade D’ouzoud.

These glorious waterfalls are nestled between Marrakesh and Azilal and located near the small Berber village of Tanaghmeilt.

Upon arrival, head to your hotel or riad and enjoy dinner.

After breakfast we will continue our Morocco Western Tour, taking a relaxing walk to the Cascades and enjoy the natural scenery.

You can also take a guided trek around the Cascade and discover a dozen old small grain mills located at the summit plus a grove of olive trees.

Return to your hotel or riad for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast we will continue our Morocco Western Tour, returning to Marrakesh and go directly to your hotel.

In the afternoon, enjoy some free time in Marrakesh and relax with a Turkish bath (Hamman) and massage.

In the evening, return to your hotel or riad to prepare for dinner at a restaurant of your choice.

After breakfast, return to Casablanca.

In the afternoon, after a rest in your hotel, drive along the beachfront, also known as the Corniche.

Then enjoy a “Farewell to Morocco” dinner at Rick’s Cafe, a Casablanca landmark.

After dinner, return to your hotel for a final overnight stay.

After breakfast, your driver and tour guide will transfer you to the airport.
